A Heritage Home, Fully Reimagined
A full-scale renovation of a four-storey Victorian townhouse, restoring and enhancing its original character through a comprehensive structural and interior overhaul. While the property retained many striking period features, it required extensive preparatory works prior to design implementation, including the removal of asbestos flooring, reconfiguration of internal walls, full electrical rewire, and installation of a new boiler system.
Ava Rose Interiors led and managed the entire process, delivering a complete redesign across all areas of the home. The scheme included a new kitchen, a master bedroom suite, reconfigured bathroom and walk-in wardrobe, updated living spaces, a child’s bedroom, and a transformed loft accommodating a home office and occasional bedroom, alongside cohesive communal areas throughout.
Key challenges focused on integrating modern functionality within the constraints of a period structure, ensuring improved flow, performance, and longevity without compromising architectural integrity. The result is a refined, fully resolved home that continues to perform both aesthetically and functionally, maintaining its quality and relevance several years on.
