A Harmonious Blend of Nature and Luxury Design
A refined country residence set within expansive grounds overlooking a golf course, this project focused on enhancing both scale and atmosphere through a biophilic, design-led approach. The primary challenge centred on a vast double-height living space, where maintaining light, openness, and external views needed to be carefully balanced with creating a warm, inviting environment for family living.
A deep, earthy colour palette was introduced to visually anchor the volume, complemented by rich timber tones and layered textures to add depth and softness. The spatial planning and material selection work cohesively to humanise the scale, resulting in a comfortable yet elevated family space that retains its architectural openness.
The master suite was reimagined as a calm, nature-inspired retreat, comprising a bedroom, en suite, and walk-in. A deep green palette, natural wood finishes, and softly reflective metals establish a grounded, organic aesthetic. Within the bedroom, Ava Rose Interiors designed and commissioned a bespoke Juliette balcony, framing uninterrupted views across the established gardens and golf course, and strengthening the connection between interior and landscape.
The en suite was reconfigured to enhance natural light through the introduction of a horizontal window, with continued use of warm materials to ensure visual and material continuity throughout.
